Lowes Guardian Angel offers an Adult Day Care program through our qualified day center. At our day center we supply attendees with behavioral provocation, motor skill simulation and sensory classes as well as RN services. Other aspects of the day program include but are not limited to:

• Mental Stimulation games such as BINGO

• Discussion groups (books, films, current events)

• Stretching or other gentle exercises

• Holiday and birthday celebrations

• Local outings

• Transportation to and from the center

Lowes Guardian Angel has established a series of assisted living facilities to sustain quality care for a needs based community. These assisted living facilities provide 24/7 awake staffing, nursing, and behavioral services to all residents. Personal care home residents are given unique attention based on their individual developmental disabilities in order to provide them the most competent care available.

Community involvement is an excellent way to work on social skills, encouraging empathy, job related skills and many more. As a result, participants in the day program are given the opportunity to take part in Community Outings. Potential Community Outings can include a trip to the zoo or the circus or an event at a park or entertainment center. These introductions to the community provide exemplary opportunities for growth in social skills as well motor skills and overall benefit the metal health and happiness of our residents.
